Elena Caynwyn Werner arrives

Elena Caynwyn Werner (8lbs 3oz) was born 4.5 hours after Chelo completed a workout at CrossFit Seattle yesterday, July 23rd. Chelo went to the 4:00pm class finished up at 5:00pm and had Elena at 9:33pm. Chelo did some heavy squats during the workout, trying to help things along! She said Elena came out after 10 minutes of hard pushing in the squat position. Everyone is happy and healthy and we are extremely grateful! Congratulations to Shane and Chelo.

Coach Mike Burgener is back for his 5th summer at CrossFit Seattle teaching the Olympic lifts. Spend the day learning the snatch and the clean and jerk with PVC. Technique will be covered in great detail. The clinic is an ideal introduction for a beginner and a good refresher for more experienced lifters.

Improve your Rowing!

We are hosting a two hour rowing clinic on Saturday afternoon, July 25th, from 1:30 - 3:30pm at the Pocock Rowing Center.

- We will break down good stroke technique in detail
- Analyze your technique in detail
- Watch a bit of video
- Video analyze you
- And do some drills

Coaches will be the CrossFit Seattle staff along with Grant Dawson and Jason Peacock, both experienced collegiate competitors and long time CrossFitters.
